The Parent Teacher Meeting is an important time to meet with your child’s teacher in a one-to-one setting. Furthermore, it lets your child know that you care about their progress and their school.
At Al-Asr Schools, during the term prior to your child starting a new session, all parents are invited to a “PTA” Parents Teachers Meeting, where you and your child will have the opportunity to meet the teaching staff, share the successes of your child, and ask any questions.
We strongly believe in building a collaborative partnership between home and school. Our Parents’ Workshops are specially designed to involve parents in their child’s learning journey, offering insights into classroom activities, teaching strategies, and academic expectations. These sessions help parents better understand how to support their children at home in meaningful ways.
Throughout the year, we also organize opportunities for parents to participate in Home Learning challenges and hands-on workshops alongside their children. These events not only celebrate students’ progress but also strengthen the bond between parents, teachers, and students, creating a well-connected, supportive learning environment for every child.
At the end of each academic year, Al-Asr Schools proudly host a Celebration of Learning event — a special day where families are invited to witness and appreciate the remarkable progress their children have made. Students get the chance to showcase their work, projects, and learning journeys in a joyful and encouraging environment.
This event also includes a guided tour of the school, allowing parents to explore the classrooms, facilities, and learning spaces. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet your child’s upcoming teacher, build early connections, and gain insights into what the next academic year holds. It’s a celebration not just of academics, but of growth, effort, and community.
